Pangu Automation’s 4,000+m² Smart Factory: High‑Precision Water Flow Calibration for DN15 to DN1000

To meet rising industrial demand for both performance and fast delivery of flowmeters, Hangzhou Pangu Automation System Co., Ltd. has fully commissioned its new production plant at the Qiheng U‑Valley High‑tech Industrial Park. With over 4,000 square meters of floor space, the facility integrates intelligent SMT high‑speed assembly lines, production assembly lines, and fully automated high‑precision water flow calibration devices, achieving end‑to‑end in‑house control from PCBA to final calibration.

A standout feature is the multiple high‑precision water flow calibration rigs covering DN15 to DN1000, including three independently operated water flow calibration pipelines. These pipelines support both the standard meter method and the static quality (gravimetric) method – the latter serving as a high‑accuracy reference for factory verification. Using both methods in parallel not only guarantees reliable performance for every delivered flowmeter but also significantly increases production throughput.

“Calibration of large‑bore flowmeters has always been a challenge in the industry,” explained Pangu’s manufacturing director. “Our investment in a DN1000‑capable calibration system, together with cross‑validation between the static gravimetric method and the standard meter method, ensures that each flowmeter leaves our factory with authentic, traceable accuracy data. With SMT automation, product consistency has also been greatly improved.”

This advanced manufacturing environment supports rapid order fulfillment for traditional industries such as petroleum, chemical, and metallurgy, while also providing reliable calibration for large‑bore water treatment applications (DN800, DN1000), further strengthening Pangu’s competitive edge in high‑accuracy flow measurement.
